FAQS
What exactly is a “classic spread”?
They’re the purest version of nut butters. Just one ingredient per jar (nuts), processed thoughtfully (activated/sprouted/roasted) so you get real taste, real texture, and real nutrition without any additives.
What are activated almonds/cashews?
They’re nuts that have been soaked and gently dried to make them easier to digest and more nutritious. Basically, they’re nuts with their guard down, so your body can absorb the good stuff better.
What’s the difference between activated, sprouted, and roasted?
- Activated: soaked + gently dried to make nuts easier to digest.
- Sprouted: soaked to begin natural sprouting, then ground for better nutrient availability.
- Roasted: lightly roasted for deeper, classic flavour.
Why is there oil on top of the spread?
That’s just the natural oil from the nuts rising to the top. Since we don’t use emulsifiers or stabilizers, a quick stir is all it needs to get back to smooth.
Is this “keto-friendly”?
Generally yes, nut butters are often used in low-carb lifestyles. But “keto” depends on your daily macros, so check your intake.
Is this safe for kids?
Yes, if they’re not allergic to nuts. Since it’s clean, simple, and single-ingredient, it’s a great option for everyday meals.
How do I use it?
Blend it into smoothies, stir into oatmeal, make almond milk, use in baking, or add to sauces for a creamy, nutty base.
Do I need to refrigerate it?
No need — it’s shelf-stable. Just store it in a cool, dry spot. If you like it firmer or want to extend freshness, refrigeration is totally fine.
How long does it last?
Unopened: up to 6 months. Once opened: we recommend to consume within 2 months. Since we don’t use preservatives, fresher is always better.
