FOR THE LITTLE ONES WHO KNOW WHAT THEY LIKE
FAQS
What exactly is this snack?
It’s real fruit — just without the water. We use a special freeze-drying process that turns fresh, juicy fruits into light, crunchy snacks while keeping their natural taste and nutrition intact.
What does it taste like?
Like the fruit itself — only crunchier and more intense. It’s sweet, tangy, or tropical, depending on the fruit, but always true to nature.
How is this different from sun dried or dehydrated fruits?
Unlike dehydrated or sun-dried fruits (which often add sugar), freeze-drying preserves the fruit’s flavor, color, shape, and nutrients, without any additives. It’s light and crisp, not chewy or sticky.
Can I use this in recipes?
Totally. Crumble it over desserts, bake it into muffins, or blend into smoothies. It adds natural flavor and crunch without any extra sugar.
Is this safe for kids?
Yes! It’s a great mess-free snack for kids. Just keep an eye on toddlers, as the crunchy texture could be a choking hazard if not chewed properly.
How do I eat this?
Enjoy it straight from the pouch, or use it to top your smoothie bowls, mix into yogurt, or add crunch to desserts. It’s fruit — just more fun.
How long does it last?
Up to 2 years if unopened and stored in a cool, dry place. Once opened, best enjoyed within a couple of weeks for maximum crunch and freshness.
Why is it so light in weight?
That’s the beauty of freeze-drying — we remove the moisture, not the nutrition. What’s left is a light, crunchy snack packed with everything good.
Does freeze-dried fruit still count as eating fruit?
Yes. Freeze-drying removes water and nothing else. The fruit is frozen solid, then the ice is drawn off as vapour without ever melting, so it is never heated and never cooked. The fibre, the colour and the fruit itself all stay exactly as they were. What you lose is the water, which is why a single 40g sachet carries the equivalent of roughly 200g of fresh produce.
Does freeze-drying destroy the nutrients?
Far less than other methods. Because the fruit never gets hot, it keeps up to 95% of its original vitamins. Sun-drying and heat-drying run at temperatures that degrade vitamin C, and juicing throws away the fibre altogether. Freeze-drying was the gentlest process we could find, which is why we built our own facility around it rather than outsourcing.
How does it last two years with no preservatives?
Bacteria and mould need water to grow. Freeze-drying takes the water out, so there is nothing left for them to live in. The shelf life is a consequence of the process rather than something added on top of it. Keep the pack sealed and dry and it stays stable at room temperature, with no refrigeration needed.
